Senergy Presents Next-Generation Solar and Storage Solutions at Solar & Storage Live UK 2024

Birmingham, United Kingdom, September 26, 2024 — Senergy, a pioneering PV inverter and energy storage ODM provider from Asia, showcased innovative hybrid inverters and battery products at Solar & Storage Live UK 2024, held in Birmingham from September 24 to 26. This year, Senergy highlighted its cutting-edge energy storage solutions, featuring the single-phase SE 6KHB-D1/LV, the three-phase SE 30KHB, and the high-performance RESS HV battery. These products cater to a wide range of applications, from residential rooftops to industrial & commercial settings, and have proven to be some of the most popular options in the UK market.

Solar & Storage Live is the UK’s most forward-thinking and exciting renewable energy exhibition, showcasing technologies at the forefront of the transition to a greener, smarter, more decentralized energy system. Solar energy is one of the fastest-growing renewable energy sources globally, and the UK is no exception. In recent years, the UK government has made significant strides in increasing its usage of solar energy, with solar panels are now a common sight on rooftops across the country, particularly in the south of England, where sunlight is most abundant.

For years, Senergy has tapped into the potential of the UK market, leveraging its industry-leading expertise in ODM manufacturing and a portfolio of over 110 core technology patents for inverters. With three state-of-the-art production facilities and three advanced R&D centers in Shenzhen and Taiwan, Senergy boasts an impressive annual production capacity of up to 10GW. In Taiwan, its flagship brand, PrimeVOLT, has secured the top position in inverter shipments for three consecutive years, earning a strong market presence and reputation for quality and reliability.

A key trend in UK’s solar energy industry is the rapid advancement of energy storage technologies. Batteries and energy storage inverters allow homeowners and businesses to store surplus solar energy generated during the day for use during peak demand periods or when sunlight is limited. These next-generation energy storage solutions not only optimize energy utilization but also enhance the reliability and flexibility of grid systems, contributing to the overall grid stability. In response to this increasing demand, Senergy introduced two hybrid inverters tailored to local requirements: the single-phase SE 6KHB-D1/LV and the three-phase SE 30KHB.

SE 6KHB-D1/LV

The Senergy SE 6KHB-D1/LV is a highly adaptable hybrid inverter engineered to meet the evolving needs of modern solar energy systems. With an intuitive LCD touch screen, it simplifies operation, ensuring efficiency for installers and users alike. Designed to handle large input currents, the SE 5KTL-D1/G2P is compatible with high-power PV modules and supports parallel operation of up to 9 units, providing scalability for larger systems. Its ultra-wide PV input voltage maximizes power generation efficiency across a variety of solar conditions. It also supports smart load management and seamless generator integration, offering greater flexibility in energy management. Rated IP65 for both indoor and outdoor use, the SE 5KTL-D1/G2P delivers exceptional durability and reliability across various environments. In the event of a power outage, its seamless transition to backup mode ensures uninterrupted access to renewable energy. The compact and lightweight design makes transportation and installation straightforward, particularly suitable for residential applications.

SE 30KHB

The three-phase hybrid inverter SE 30KHB is an advanced solution designed for high performance and reliability, offering a maximum efficiency of 98.4%. Equipped with 3 MPPT channels and a maximum battery charge/discharge current of 2*75A, it is fully optimized for high-power solar panels. The inverter supports unbalanced output, ensuring reliable and robust performance under demanding conditions. The IP66 protection rating makes it suitable for complex outdoor environments, while multiple built-in protections, including optional AFCI, provide enhanced safety and reliability. Built with key components from internationally renowned brands, the SE 30KHB ensures superior quality and durability. This inverter is ideal for a wide range of energy management systems, from residential rooftops to small- and media-sized industrial and commercial settings.

RESS HV Battery

One of the key challenges facing the UK solar industry is the capacity and connection limitations of the national grid. Solar energy is an intermittent energy source, generating electricity only during daylight hours, while peak electricity demand typically occurs in the evening. This creates a need for the storage or export of surplus solar energy for later use. However, UK’s grid capacity to handle this influx can be constrained, particularly in regions with a high concentration of solar installations. To address those evolving needs, Senergy introduced the RESS HV Battery, a next-generation energy storage solution powered by advanced Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) cells, offering superior safety, longevity, and efficiency. The battery features an intelligent Battery Management System (BMS) that optimizes performance and ensures reliable energy storage under varying conditions. With a continuous charge/discharge current of up to 72A and a maximum power output exceeding 30kW, this RESS HV Battery offers scalable solutions for diverse energy storage needs. Its stackable, modular design, combined with a convenient plug-and-play setup, eliminates the need for cables between battery modules, simplifying installation and maintenance. This extendable solution ensures flexibility as energy demands grow, providing a seamless, high-capacity energy storage system for residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
